The wide receiver position in the NFL is arguably as talented as it has ever been, with some game-changing players around the league like Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tyreek Hill.
The three players mentioned above are arguably the three best players at the position in the NFL right now, but there are some other stars at wideout who think they are the cream of the crop.
One player, in particular, is CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys, who rarely gets thrown into the conversation for being the best wide receiver in the game but clearly thinks he should be considered the best the league has to offer right now.
Lamb recently said that he’s the top wide receiver in the NFL and that there’s no question about that statement, which is bold considering his peers at the position.
Ironically enough, former Philadelphia Eagles star running back LeSean McCoy came to his defense explaining why Lamb is in an elite class of wide receivers in the NFL, via “Speak” on FS1.

In his four years in the NFL thus far as Dak Prescott’s favorite target downfield in Dallas, Lamb has cracked 1,000 yards receiving only twice and has yet to break double-digit touchdowns, with nine being his career-high total up to this point.
This season, Lamb has caught 68 passes for 975 receiving yards and four touchdowns, which puts him on pace to beat his career high in yards (1,359) and touchdowns (9).
However, the other star wide receivers mentioned have far exceeded those numbers of the last few years, which makes Lamb’s statement a little lackluster because he’s clearly not the league’s best wideout.
