The Baltimore Ravens won their divisional clash with the Cincinnati Bengals, but they had to pay a big price.

They lost star TE Mark Andrews for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.

With around 11 minutes left in the first quarter and on his team’s opening drive, Andrews was nearing the red zone when Bengals’ LB Logan Wilson tackled him.

He was in a lot of pain and barely able to walk back to the locker room.

Then, he underwent X-rays and was spotted on crutches and couldn’t put any weight on that leg.

With that in mind, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson talked about Andrews’ impact and said ‘It’s very tough.” (via Jamison Hensley).

Andrews seemed on pace for a big game, logging two grabs for 23 yards in that opening series alone.

He had totaled 43 receptions for 521 yards (12.1 yards per catch) and six touchdowns.

Andrews has always been one of Jackson’s favorite and most reliable targets, mostly because of the lack of consistent contributors to the passing game.

And even with the surges of Rashod Bateman and the arrivals of Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers, he was still a focal point of their offense.

The Ravens are now 8-3 after 11 weeks and look like the best team in the AFC right now, but this was still a huge blow for Todd Monken’s offense.
