Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors has once again gotten himself into a lot of trouble because of his on-court actions.
His recent fight and suspension have a lot of people talking, including Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.
Asked about Green the other night, Kerr flatly said that he was “wrong” and that the five-game suspension levied by the NBA was “deserved.”
On “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith said that Green should pay close attention to Kerr’s words.
“If Steve Kerr talks about you that way, it is something that has been discussed in the hierarchy of the organization, and it has been deemed and determined that you are a problem,” Smith said.

Smith went on to say that Green’s recent outburst and chokehold of Rudy Gobert has cemented a public image of him as someone who is “out of control.”
He said that it’s very hard for a player to come back when that view is held and Green is doing detrimental things to himself, his legacy, and his team.
Smith brought up the fight that Green had last year with Jordan Poole and the way that it threw the entire Warriors organization into disarray.
For weeks, it was a hot topic that everyone was talking about and it really did raise serious questions about the team’s chemistry and culture.
If Green wishes to be a true leader, he cannot keep acting like this, Smith wagered.
Kerr’s comments surely come after speaking with Golden State’s front office and they suggest that people in charge of the team are growing weary of Green’s antics.
He needs to reel it in or else he could face consequences that go far beyond a five-game suspension.
