After years of mediocrity and falling short of expectations, the Chicago Bulls appear to be on the brink of blowing up their roster.
The Bulls have been a popular choice to ship off their high-priced veterans, and after another bad start to the regular season they finally seem to be reaching that conclusion themselves.
Chicago’s got several pieces of interest for playoff-contending teams, but the most interesting name is Zach LaVine who is in the second-year of a massive five-year contract.
LaVine is a talented scorer at all three levels of the floor and would instantly bolster any team’s offense, though his defensive limitations make him a tough player to leave out in high-pressure situations.
However, his scoring can make up for the defensive shortcomings which is why several teams have already registered interest in acquiring him.
LaVine is reportedly looking for a place where he can compete for a title and he’s reportedly named three teams as his preferred landing spot via Jake Fischer of Yahoo.

The Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and Philadelphia 76ers all have championship aspirations and could use an upgrade in their backcourts.
The Heat are always in the mix for stars and could use another go-to scorer next to Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
The Lakers have a deep roster, but struggle to score when LeBron James sits so adding LaVine makes sense for the purple and gold.
Lastly, the 76ers wouldn’t mind another on-ball threat to help space the floor for Joel Embiid.
Trade talks are sure to pick up in the next few weeks as the situation develops.
