Even though the Cleveland Browns were able to beat the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10, it was a tough week for the team as they learned Deshaun Watson would miss the remainder of the 2023 NFL season due to a shoulder injury.
Watson has been bothered by the shoulder ailment for weeks now, and although he sought second opinions the team determined that it would be best for him to undergo surgery and fix the issue for the long-term.
It’s a blow for Cleveland who looked like a legitimate contender in the AFC, so now the team will rest its hopes on rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson for their Week 11 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The team also has P.J. Walker on the roster, though they’re likely trying to evaluate Thompson-Robinson to see if he’s worth being the full-time backup going forward.
The Browns have been hit hard with injuries on the offensive end, though they’re getting some reinforcements back this weekend.
Cleveland announced that they’re activating offensive lineman Michael Dunn from injured reserve via the team’s official Twitter account.

Dunn has appeared in four games this season, making one start before he hurt his calf against the San Francisco 49ers.
The offensive lineman originally joined the team back in 2020 and has played in 32 games since then.
It’s a minor move, but a solid addition for the Browns who have been known to have one of the best offensive lines in the league.
Unfortunately, Cleveland will have their work cut out for them trying to pass protect against the Pittsburgh defensive line.
