The Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors recently battled it out in an exciting regular season matchup.

The game could have gone either way with the two teams playing in overtime.

After four quarters and overtime, the game finished 130-123 in favor of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

However, the victory wouldn’t have been possible without Chet Holmgren’s game-tying shot with just 1.6 seconds left on the clock.

Holmgren shared his views on tying the game during the final seconds via the NBA’s official Twitter handle.

“It felt good coming out of my hands,” Holmgren said.

At one point in the fourth quarter, the game was tied at 114-114.

However, Andrew Wiggins finally broke the tie with a clutch three-point shot against the Thunder.

With just 1.6 seconds on the clock, the Thunder in-bounded the ball to Chet Holmgren, who nailed an unbelievable three-pointer to send the game to overtime.

During overtime, the Thunder outplayed the Warriors, as the final score was 130-123 in favor of Holmgren’s team.

During the game, Holmgren added 36 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists against the Warriors.

He also recorded 2 steals and 2 blocks in the crucial game for the Thunder.

Following the victory, the Oklahoma City Thunder are now the fourth seed in the Western Conference.

They are now 9-4 during the regular season, tied with the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference.

If the Oklahoma City Thunder can keep playing at this level, they will certainly have a chance at becoming one of the dark horse contenders to play in the 2024 NBA Finals.
