NFL scouts have raved about USC star QB Caleb Williams for more than a year.

He’s been projected to be the No. 1 pick in the upcoming draft since before the start of the season, and things haven’t changed that much ever since.

However, his few doubters are licking their chops right now after his latest actions.

Following the Trojans’ loss to UCLA 38-20, the projected No. 1 pick didn’t want to address the media.

That’s why Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network called him out and stated that talking to the media was a part of the job as the face of a franchise.

Joe Burrow learned his season was over on Monday, understood his responsibility, and went out and held a news conference. The job of a QB and face of the franchise. https://t.co/Xh0S6LpfUT

The Trojans fell to 7-5 in what might be Williams’ final game with the program.

It was the team’s fifth loss in their past six contests.

They’re still eligible to play in a Bowl game, but with Williams ready to become a pro, there’s little-to-no incentive to play in a Bowl game featuring a 7-5 team.

He had already hinted at potentially coming back to college for an additional season if he didn’t like the team with the No. 1 pick.

Everything revolving around him has made it seem like he’s way over his head before even playing a single snap in the NFL.

And while scouts could be right about him and his Patrick Mahomes-like skill set, there are also some serious red flags.
