The New York Jets were blown out in their Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

This game quickly got out of hand, forcing Robert Saleh to bench Zach Wilson and put in Tim Boyle for the rest of the game.

Boyle’s entrance to the game meant one of two things.

Saleh could have wanted to protect Wilson from a potential injury and put Boyle in as insurance for Wilson.

Or, as many fans have speculated, Wilson was truly benched for his performance.

Judging by Saleh’s latest comments, it appears that he might be in favor of the latter.

According to Ian Rapoport, when asked about his starting quarterback for Week 12, Saleh refused to answer.

He could be so frustrated with Wilson that he is forced to start Boyle against the Miami Dolphins next week.

Either way, this is a situation to monitor given the organization’s commitment to Wilson this season.

Saleh’s latest comments do not bode well for the Jets to finish off the season.

With Aaron Rodgers trying to come back in the last few weeks of the year, he might be forced to stay sidelined until the 2024 season.

The Jets currently hold a 4-6 record, and unless they have a miraculous run in their future, their playoff hopes are marginal.

Rodgers would have liked to help lead this team to a potentially deep playoff run, but instead, he might have to watch the playoffs from the couch.

If the Jets do go with Boyle next week, it will be interesting to see what the fan response will be.
