There has been a lot of debate about Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers this season.

The inconsistency issues that have lingered around Davis for all of his career have popped up again, with him sometimes performing very well and sometimes looking uninspired and sluggish.

Former NBA star Kevin Garnett isn’t impressed by what he sees from Davis.

Speaking on Showtime Basketball, Garnett said that Davis appears older than he is.

“AD looks 40 years old. When I watch Anthony Davis play, he looks like me,” Garnett said, according to Legion Hoops.

The season didn’t start in a great way for Davis, who is only 30 years old.

During the opening game of the year, Davis scored 17 points in the first half of the game but didn’t gain another point for the rest of the game.

He has had multiple games where he has scored 30 points or more but he has also had a couple when he has been in the single digits with both points, rebounds, and assists.

Davis has never been the fastest guy on the court but that is understandable since he is 6-foot-10 and 250 pounds.

When it comes to injuries, Davis hasn’t been taken off the floor too much this season.

He missed a game on November 8 but has been playing ever since, although he has admitted that there is a nagging hip problem that is bothering him.

Davis has been doing very well during the last two games, scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds against the Houston Rockets and 26 points and 16 rebounds against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night.

Garnett and others might complain about his conditioning, speed, and inconsistency, but Davis is still having some really great nights.
