The Golden State Warriors couldn’t escape their trip to the desert with a win.

Turnovers, sloppy play, no Draymond Green, Chris Paul’s ejection, and many more factors took a toll on their chance to get the win, not to mention Frank Vogel’s team’s great display.

However, on top of that, there was a big factor that made the Warriors — or at least their coach — quite uncomfortable in this matchup: the arena.

Following the loss, coach Steve Kerr complained about the Suns’ arena being so loud and with techno music blasting throughout the course of the entire game, comparing it to a South Beach club (via Ball is Life).

Steve Kerr on the Suns arena:

“It’s like a South Beach club out there. What are we doing? I couldn’t hear anything out there. It’s just the whole game. It’s thumping techno club music. Can we just have a basketball game anymore? What the hell?”

Perhaps that wasn’t the best excuse Kerr could’ve come up with, but to be fair, he does have a history of migraines, so chances are he’s more sensitive to loud noises than the average person.

The NBA is the ultimate entertainment, and as such, teams will continue to go the extra mile to provide top-notch fan experience.

The Suns have a new owner who’s proven to be willing to spend big bucks and go the extra mile to become one of the biggest powerhouses in the league, and that often includes making sure the fans have a great time whenever they go watch their team.

It can be annoying, and chances are we’re getting away from what’s actually important, which is the game.

But that’s the thing about playing on the road, and all teams will have to accommodate their facilities to get an edge over their rivals.
