NBA referee Scott Foster and Chris Paul go a long way back.

It’s been an ongoing story for years now, up to the point where Paul lost 13 straight playoff games officiated by Foster.

Then, for the first time in their apparent feud, Foster ejected Paul with two quick technical fouls.

Following the game, the former star point guard accused Foster of having some sort of personal vendetta against him (via Ball Don’t Lie).

He later took to Instagram to thank Phoenix Suns fans for the three years he spent with the organization, apologizing for the early exit, and sharing a pic of himself and Foster arguing (via Ball is Life).

He didn’t want to get into any specifics, but coach Steve Kerr also got in Foster’s face and got a technical as well.

Paul said he has already met with the NBA regarding his history with Scott Foster.

The origins of their apparent feud are unknown, but this has become a talking point for way too long already.

Perhaps Foster doesn’t have anything against Paul, but some fans have questioned his ethics in the past for these kinds of things.

At the end of the day, maybe whichever team has Paul on its roster should just give him the night off whenever they’re officiated by him.
