The Dallas Cowboys knew they had a chance to have some fun on the field on Thanksgiving.

Granted that divisional games are always tricky, and you can never overlook an opponent, but Dak Prescott and company were quite confident in their ability to get the job done early and just enjoy the rest of the show from there on.

That’s why they had planned their turkey-eating celebration for days.

As reported by Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic, Prescott had the idea for quite a while, but he wanted to make sure that the team was up by a big enough margin before doing it so it wouldn’t come back to haunt them.

Needless to say, it didn’t take long before they realized they had the game in hand, and they didn’t hesitate to go out there and just have some fun.

Of course, some might think this is disrespectful and classless, but in reality, all the Commanders had to do to prevent it was to at least make it a close game, so perhaps they should be the ones to blame for it.

The Cowboys are riding a three-game winning streak and have been quite dominant over that stretch, although all wins have come against subpar teams.

Star CB DaRon Bland set a single-season record by recording his fifth pick-six of the year, and Prescott had another elite outing with 331 passing yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions.

They’re feeling great about themselves right now, so they deserve to get some turkey.
