The Green Bay Packers made a big statement on Thanksgiving.
They put an end to a four-game losing streak to the Detroit Lions and gave Dan Campbell’s team a big wake-up call.
But more than that, they showed that maybe Jordan Love is, in fact, the guy they want to build their team around.
As a matter of fact, Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin stated that he saw a lot of Aaron Rodgers in him.

In the latest edition of “Undisputed,” Irvin claimed that he always looks to what young QBs learn from their mentors, and he saw some of Rodgers’ signature off-angle throws in the game vs. the Lions.
Irvin stated that it’s a matter of time before Love finds out what he can and cannot do on the field, but he thinks he’s going to fare quite well in the future.
He also raved about his connection with WR Christian Watson, who’s finally starting to come around after a slow start to his career with multiple injuries.
The Packers are now 5-6 and have a winnable schedule ahead of them.
Winning the division might be out of the question unless the Lions start falling flat and go on a losing streak.
But at least it seems like they’re not going to be out of the playoff race as most analysts predicted, especially after watching them struggle so badly earlier in the campaign.
As for Love having some Rodgers in him or not, only time will tell if the Packers struck gold again.
