The Las Vegas Raiders seemed to be in full control in their recent matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
They quickly went up 14-0 against the reigning Super Bowl champs, and it felt like they would run away with the victory.
However, the tides quickly turned, as the Raiders’ lead quickly dissipated, and the Chiefs took full advantage of the Raiders’ slip-ups.
After being down 14-0, the Chiefs rallied, ultimately winning this game 31-17.
While this seemed to be a convincing win in favor of the Chiefs, many of the Raiders players did not see it that way.
In a postgame interview with reporter Logan Reever, Davante Adams recanted how he believed everything played out.
Adams said, “No disrespect to them, but it was more about what we were doing.”

Adams believes that the Chiefs didn’t necessarily win the game, but the Raiders lost it.
The Raiders didn’t play well enough to come away with the win, the main reason Adams made these comments.
He is under the impression that he and his teammates can play much better.
The good news is that the Raiders have another opportunity to show that they can take down the Chiefs.
These two teams are slated to face off on Christmas Day, in what should be an intense, intra-divisional matchup.
Adams’ Raiders have talked a big game after losing to the Chiefs, with all of their players upset about their performance.
This rematch is a chance for them to prove that they can hold their own against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
