The NFL has been under fire lately by a lot of analysts.
Some have said that the league isn’t what it used to be and that games are starting to lose their luster.
Tom Brady has recently come out and said that the league is filled with “mediocrity.”
This take has received mixed reviews, but Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons recently fledged his support of Brady’s take.
In Parsons’ podcast shared via Bleacher Report, he said, “100% agree,” adding, “The league has went more into an offensive league.”

Brady’s original comments talked about some of the league’s best defensive players of all time, and how a lot of their hits would be rendered illegal in today’s NFL.
As an elite defender himself, Parsons feels limited by some of the newest rule changes, and that they greatly favor the offense.
He also believes that, if teams are savvy enough, they can take advantage of the rules that seem to be in the offense’s favor.
When that happens, it is difficult for players like Parsons to make a true impact in a game.
He is a strong, quick defender who has established himself as one of the league’s best at a young age.
Even though he is one of the best at his craft, there is only so much he can do before he is penalized, especially concerning opposing quarterbacks.
The league continues to emphasize quarterback protection.
While this is not necessarily a bad thing, players like Parsons and Brady are just looking for more equity across other positions as well.
