The Golden State Warriors have been the most successful team in the NBA over the past decade.

They have won four championships in that timeframe and became a dynasty before our eyes.

But, all things must come to an end at some point.

And with the way the Warriors have played this season, it appears they have taken a step back.

Golden State has begun the year with an 8-10 record and they are coming off a brutal loss.

On Tuesday, the Warriors led the Sacramento Kings by 24 points and seemingly had the game in hand.

Yet, they proceeded to play terribly in the second half and lost the game in the final seconds.

Colin Cowherd thinks this loss and what he has seen from the Warriors this year is the end of their dynasty.

Cowherd said, via Legion Hoops: “I think the Warriors dynasty is officially dead. Find me one that elegantly ended.”

While Stephen Curry is still at the top of his game, he may be the only one.

Klay Thompson has lost a step and Draymond Green is no longer an offensive threat.

Also, the Warriors went all-in on keeping the dynasty alive this offseason.

They traded away Jordan Poole for Chris Paul and the often-injured veteran is once again injured.

The start of this season has not been ideal for a team that was hoping to compete for a title.

But, do not write them off just yet.

If they are serious about contending, the Warriors front office has some moves to make via trade that can bolster their chances.
