The Philadelphia Eagles have picked up right where they left off the 2022 season, finding themselves back atop the NFC.
With a 10-1 record, the Eagles have a two-game lead in the conference, ahead of three teams with 8-3 records.
One of those 8-3 teams is their division rival, Dallas Cowboys, who are trying to make up ground on the Eagles, hoping to steal away the division.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the Eagles keep finding ways to win, including games that feel like they should have lost.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently discussed this phenomenon with a Dallas-based radio station, 105.3 The Fan.
During this conversation, Jones voiced his frustrations with the Eagles, asking, “Why can’t the ball bounce the right way?”

Other teams in the conference likely echo this frustration.
The latest example of this frustration was the Eagles’ recent overtime win over the Buffalo Bills.
It felt like the Bills had control over the game, a near-lock to beat the Eagles.
However, due to their strong defense and pursuant offense, the Eagles, once again, found a way to eke out a victory.
The Eagles continue to confuse and irritate their opponents, especially in games that feel winnable for the other side.
Jones’ Cowboys will need to keep winning and hope that this stretch of success will end for the Eagles if they want any chances of winning the division.
They are slated to face off in two weeks, their second season meeting.
