The Golden State Warriors have started this NBA season slowly.

After 19 games, Golden State has a 9-10 record.

They have been inconsistent and have yet to show they are true NBA title contenders.

Stephen Curry has been great, but a clear second option has yet to arise.

Klay Thompson has gotten off to a slow start, and Andrew Wiggins has not been good.

It is starting to look more and more clear the Warriors need to make a trade.

One player that seems to be available for the right price is Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam.

Bill Simmons thinks Siakam would be a good fit for Golden State.

Simmons said the Warriors should offer, “Wiggins and Kuminga for Siakam.”

That would be an interesting trade for both sides.

The Warriors would get a number two scoring option while the Raptors would get two solid contributors.

Kuminga has immense upside but he has yet to flourish in Golden State.

A change of scenery could do wonders for the 21-year-old.

The Warriors are in their championship window, as their big three are not getting any younger.

Their front office owes it to Curry to get another All-Star player.

Siakam is a free agent at year’s end which may make him available on the trade market.

If Golden State is going to trade for Siakam, they will need some assurances he will re-sign with them.

That may be the only thing holding back these teams from making a trade.

Either way, the Golden State front office must be aggressive in improving their roster.
