Before the start of the 2022 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs made the decision to trade All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins.

It was a move that many questioned after it was made, but the Chiefs went out and proved they could still be successful without Hill, as they won the Super Bowl in their first season without him on the roster.

It’s been a different story for Kansas City this year, as Hill is having an incredible season with the Dolphins, and the Chiefs have struggled to find anyone from their wide receiver group who is consistently reliable.

After watching Kansas City lose to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night, FS1’s Skip Bayless shared on Monday that he believes the Chiefs are finally at a point now where they miss having Hill as a part of their offense.

“This year, [the Chiefs] look a little lost without Tyreek.”

Bayless also mentioned how it was a little easier for Kansas City last season since JuJu Smith-Schuster was able to come in and make a noticeable impact.

But this year, it’s basically been the Chiefs relying on quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce to carry the entire offense.

Mahomes and Kelce are very talented, but they can only do so much, so the lack of help from Kansas City’s wide receivers has certainly had an impact on the performance of the team’s offense this season.

In 2022, it seemed like the Chiefs could survive without Hill, but now it seems like they will need to invest more time into improving their group of wide receivers during the upcoming offseason.
