The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to recover after getting destroyed by the San Francisco 49ers, 42-19, on Sunday at home.
It was a stunning loss, as most had expected the contest to be relatively competitive, and now they’re having to deal with the possibility that, to a certain extent, they got exposed.
The Niners carved up their defense during the final three quarters, scoring six touchdowns and getting seemingly almost anything they wanted.
Offensively, while quarterback Jalen Hurts struggled, star wide receiver A.J. Brown had eight catches for 114 yards.
Per Eagles Nation, he had a message for his defenders.

Brown arrived in Philly via a trade prior to last season in which Philly gave up a first and third-round draft pick to the Tennessee Titans.
His arrival transformed the Eagles from a decent team into a Super Bowl-caliber one.
They went 14-3 last year with Brown turning in 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns, and they made it all the way to the big game, where they blew a 10-point halftime lead and lost on a last-second field goal to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
This year, they still rank among the league leaders in offense, and while the 49ers have supplanted them as the team to beat in the NFL, their championship hopes are still very much alive.
But now, they only have a one-game lead in the NFC standings for first place, and this Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, who like the 49ers have a 9-3 record, could determine whether they will win the NFC East.
Philly’s 10-2 record isn’t as impressive as it looks, as they have won only two games by double digits.
