The NBA’s In-Season Tournament has already provided a lot of fan interaction and general excitement.
There is not typically a lot of NBA traction at this point in the year, given the popularity of the NFL, and this has been a catalyst to change that.
Four teams remain to compete for the inaugural title.
While all four teams still have a chance, Skip Bayless recently highlighted that he believes the Los Angeles Lakers have the inside track to taking home the title.
Lakers will win the inaugural In-Season Tournament. LeBron is taking it much more seriously than Giannis, who said after his game he’s not real happy about having to go to Vegas without his family on his bday. Lakers>Pacers for the Cup. But it WILL NOT COUNT as LBJ’s 5th ring.

As Bayless points out, he thinks that LeBron James is taking this tournament seriously.
In his mind, James has a better mindset than Giannis Antetokounmpo to this point in the season.
Antetokounmpo’s family is reportedly unhappy with having to go to Las Vegas on his birthday, which could affect his mentality during the semifinal game.
On the other hand, James seems to have a clear mind, ready to lead the Lakers to victory.
For the Lakers to win the In-Season Tournament, they must make it to the final game.
They are slated to take on the New Orleans Pelicans, the only team standing in their way to a potential title.
If they advance, they’ll face the winner of the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers, the representative from the Eastern Conference.
It will be interesting to see how the results of this tournament play out, especially given the four remaining teams.
The Bucks, at least on paper, appear to be the favorites.
Can James’ squad overcome them if they take on the Bucks in the final?
