The Los Angeles Lakers managed to escape with a narrow win.
It took a controversial call and a big team effort to bury the Phoenix Suns in the In-Season Tournament’s quarterfinal, and everybody who watched the game needed a second to catch their breath.
Needless to say, that includes Lakers coach Darvin Ham, who hilariously asked for a couple of seconds and collapsed on the podium before addressing the media (via Spectrum SportsNet).

The Lakers got off to a double-digit lead early, but the Suns managed to get back on top after a solid third quarter.
LeBron James was at his finest with 31 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds, and five steals, all while Anthony Davis dominated the glass with 27 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, and two blocks.
Davis, however, missed a crucial free throw late in the game, leaving the door wide open for Kevin Durant to try and send the game to overtime.
Fortunately for them, K.D.’s pull-up didn’t go in, and they escaped with a three-point win to stay alive in their pursuit of the NBA Cup.
The Lakers will have a tough challenge ahead of them, as they’ll have to meet the New Orleans Pelicans, who have already upset the Sacramento Kings and look like one of the most improved teams in the league.
Even if they get past that, they would still need to face either the Indiana Pacers or Milwaukee Bucks in the final, so coach Darvin Ham better catch his breath fast and get back to the drawing board to get ready for what’s next.
