The Chicago Bulls season has not exactly started how the team might have hoped.
They have an 8-14 record, giving them the fourth-worst record in the Eastern Conference.
While the team expects their star players to help bring them back to a record closer to .500, recent news has dampened their spirits.
According to the Bulls’ official Twitter, Zach LaVine is expected to miss 3-4 more weeks due to inflammation of his right foot.

LaVine has been one of the Bulls’ best players for several years, and this news has set him back again.
If this team wants to get back into contention in the East, they must find elite production from their other players.
DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, and Alex Caruso are three players that could help get them back on track.
Of course, their potential road back into relevance could be long.
While there is plenty of season left to play, being in this position is typically a death sentence for teams.
When a record dips to a certain point, morale declines, often resulting in decreased on-court output.
Even if they desperately try to get back into the swing of things, it might be too late for the Bulls, especially without LaVine.
Fans will be interested to see how the Bulls move forward for the rest of the season and when LaVine gets back on the court.
For now, they will hang on to the hope that their current roster can make something happen, and that they can continue to put their best foot forward.
