The Los Angeles Chargers were recently known for being a great offensive team and not so good on the other side of the field.
More often than not, Brandon Staley’s team starred in epic shootouts, with the game going down to the final possession.
However, the Chargers may have finally cracked the code defensively.
The only problem is that they’re also struggling to put up points on the scoreboard.
As pointed out by NFL insider Zac Stevens, their last three games have hit the under, as they went from 79 combined points in Week 10 to 43 in Week 11, 30 in Week 12, and just six points in Week 13.
The Chargers have QUICKLY become a team that hits on the under.
Total points in their games the past four weeks:
Week 10: 79 (!!)
Week 11: 43
Week 12: 30
Week 13: 6 (!!)
Broncos-Chargers over/under is currently set at ~44.

Stevens points out that the over/under game total vs. the Denver Broncos is currently set at 44.
Justin Herbert’s team has once again been one of the most disappointing of the season.
The Chargers can’t seem to close out games or beat their rivals in close-game situations, often dropping games by one score or less.
Staley’s time with the team might be running out, and the fact that he was able to survive after last season’s playoff debacle was nothing short of a miracle.
This team has way too much potential on both sides of the field, and it can’t help but feel like it’s being misused year in and year out.
Herbert is about to enter his prime years, and while the Chargers play in a difficult division, they should fare much better than this, and it seems like it’s about time some things change for this organization.
