The Boston Celtics look like a serious threat to win this year’s NBA Championship after retooling the roster in the offseason.

The Celtics took swings in trades to bring Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday on board and those two have fit in almost seamlessly with the rest of the roster.

Boston is currently 16-5 and leads the Eastern Conference, a feat that is impressive in its own right.

However, there’s a long way to go before the players and fans can feel comfortable with where they currently stack up against the rest of the league.

Fortunately, the Celtics are seeing another strong start to the season from Jayson Tatum who remains one of the game’s most complete offensive players.

Tatum is almost a shoo-in to make the All-Star Game this year and he had a couple of suggestions for how to drum up more interest in the game via the Point Forward podcast.

Andre Iguodala begins the video by asking Tatum what he would do differently to which the Celtics star first lays out that he would first begin by making the All-Star game go back to an East-West format.

Tatum also noted that he thinks the player introductions and halftime can be cut down and have the game start earlier.

They’re valid points from Tatum who’s made multiple All-Star teams now, and the NBA would be wise to make some of those tweaks.

For now, though, fans might have to endure another lackluster showing between the NBA’s best players including Tatum.
