The Denver Nuggets are the defending champions of the NBA, and the primary credit for their sensational championship run last season goes to none other than Nikola Jokic.

Jokic had a historic performance in the postseason as the two-time NBA MVP led the Nuggets to their first NBA Championship in franchise history.

While Jokic was his usually dominant self at the start of the 2023-24 NBA season, the 5x NBA All-Star is seemingly going through a rare shooting slump.

Jokic’s poor shooting has clearly impacted the Nuggets, as they are currently on a three-game losing streak.

Upon seeing Jokic’s bad shooting performance against the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets, NBA fans on Twitter couldn’t hold back their reactions to it.

He’s out of shape. He just looked tired going up and down the court

Not looking too good

Nikola Jokic is undoubtedly one of the best players in the league, but even he is human.

He’s bound to have a few bad games over the course of an 82-game regular season.

But no one expected Jokic to shoot 18-58 in a two-game span.

It ultimately comes out as 31.0% from the field.

While Jokic will likely bounce back in a couple of games, it’s still tough to see one of the most consistent players in the league go through a shooting slump.

The Nuggets will hope that he can snap out of it sooner rather than later as they are about to drop out of the top-four seeds in the Western Conference.
