The Houston Texans have been one of the most fun and surprising stories of the 2023 NFL season as they appear far ahead of schedule in their supposed rebuild.
The Texans won their Week 13 matchup against the Denver Broncos and now currently sit in the final Wild Card spot heading into Week 14.
C.J. Stroud has been a revelation for Houston as he’s not only been the best rookie, but arguably one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
Stroud’s got an amazing pocket presence and an accurate arm that he uses to find receivers open all over the field.
Stroud was also blessed with a great running mate in Tank Dell who’s been equally impressive in his rookie season.
However, Dell suffered a fractured fibula against the Broncos and will miss the remainder of the season though Stroud said the two will remain a great pair for the foreseeable future via NFL.
“7 and 3 will be a great duo for the next couple years,” Stroud said.

Stroud and Dell formed a strong connection on the field quickly and the two catapulted the Texans’ offense almost from the jump.
Dell may not have the physical profile of a number-one receiver, but he has a knack for getting open and has sure hands.
The wideout broke the franchise record for receiving touchdowns for a rookie, and would’ve added to his feat had he not gotten hurt.
Stroud will definitely miss Dell on the field, but he’s shown that he can make plays with his back against the wall.
