With just four games left in the NFL regular season, we can already make our predictions about the awards.

On top of that, the odds paint a clear picture of the current MVP landscape, and after watching all teams for 13 weeks, it shouldn’t be much of a surprise at this point.

As pointed out by RJ Ochoa on Twitter, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is currently leading the race with +160 odds to be the league’s next Most Valuable Player.

Odds to win NFL MVP at @DKSportsbook on Monday of Week 14:
– Dak Prescott, +160
– Brock Purdy, +200
– Lamar Jackson, +550
– Jalen Hurts, +650
– Tua Tagovailoa, +1000
– Tyreek Hill, +1300
– Patrick Mahomes, +1500
– Josh Allen, +2200
– Christian McCaffrey, +3500

The rest of the pool consists of Brock Purdy (SF, +200), Lamar Jackson (BAL, +550), Jalen Hurts (PHI, +650), Tua Tagovailoa (MIA, +1000), Tyreek Hill (MIA, +1300), Patrick Mahomes (KC, +1500), Josh Allen (BUF, +2200), and Christian McCaffrey (SF, +3500).

It’s discouraging to see that no defensive player made the cut.

Myles Garrett, T.J. Watt, and even DaRon Bland should and could get some consideration.

Then again, this has been a QB-driven award for most of history, so this isn’t much of a surprise.

Notably, Prescott has been the most consistent quarterback in the game for the past two-and-a-half months, leading the Cowboys to a league-best 10-3 record.

The irony here is that he was considered to be his team’s Achilles heel before the start of the season, but he’s been able to shut down all the outside noise and criticism and prove why the Cowboys have always had his back.

A lot can still happen in the final month of the season, but barring a major collapse or an injury, this award should be Prescott’s to lose.
