The Phoenix Suns had an exciting evening against the Golden State Warriors.
They came away from this game with a much-needed victory, but it didn’t come without a (literal) fight.
During the game, Draymond Green swung at Jusuf Nurkic, which resulted in an ejection.
This was Green’s third ejection of the 2023-2024 NBA Season.
In a postgame interview, Nurkic talked about Green punching him, which PKNX Suns shared on Twitter.
In this interview, Nurkic said, “What’s going on with him, I don’t know. Personally, I feel like that brother needs help.”

This has turned into a common theme with Green.
He was not only ejected for the third time this year, but all three ejections resulted from a fight that he instigated.
Nurkic was the latest causality in a challenging year for Green.
Unless something was underlying under the surface, it didn’t seem like Nurkic did anything to provoke him.
Fans will now watch in anticipation, wondering if Green will endure any additional punishment from the league.
Typically, the league’s offices don’t take kindly to fighting, and since Green is a three-time repeat offender, his punishment could be more serious this time.
While fans wait to see what happens with Green, Nurkic and the Suns are moving forward.
This was a blip in the season, but they can hopefully move on to their next game without much hesitation or backlash.
The Suns’ next opponent is the Brooklyn Nets, their second game in as many days.
It will be interesting to see how the team responds after this situation and if their energy levels remain high in their matchup with the Nets.
