Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the NBA’s best players.

He is well-regarded across the league for his on-court performances and demeanor on and off the basketball court.

While Antetokounmpo has already made his mark on Milwaukee Bucks history, he added another accolade to his career trophy case in a recent game against the Indiana Pacers.

Antetokounmpo scored 64 points, a single-game record in Bucks’ franchise history.

However, Antetokounmpo believes the game ball was taken from him, which he recanted in a postgame press conference.

In a video shared via Rob Perez, Antetokounmpo talked about how he also doesn’t have the game ball from game six of the 2021 NBA Finals.

The saga takes another turn. Giannis says he is not sure if the game ball he received is the actual game ball. He also reveals he doesn’t possess the Game 6 Finals game ball either.

As mentioned in this video, he does not believe either ball is legitimate.

Having a souvenir from an achievement of this magnitude means a lot to players.

It is a physical representation of what they accomplished, something they can treasure for the rest of their lives.

While Antetokounmpo possesses two game balls, he could say they are legitimate, but in his mind, they are not.

After all of the fanfare and speculation surrounding this game, it will be interesting to see what happens next in this saga.

Will any Pacers players or coaches confess to having this ball, giving Antetokounmpo what he believes to be rightfully his?

That remains to be seen.

For now, one of the NBA’s best current players remains frustrated, upset that he still doesn’t have the proper ball.

While this was a big story, Antetokounmpo must now focus on the Bucks’ upcoming matchup with the Detroit Pistons.
