The Golden State Warriors are reeling from the latest suspension of Draymond Green, but that’s not the only problem they’ve had this season.

Their 10-13 record leaves a lot to be desired and multiple stars on the team are struggling.

On SiriusXM NBA Radio, NBA analyst Bobby Marks said it might be time for Steph Curry to take more commanding control of the team.

“If I’m Steph Curry and this team continues to struggle…there’s going to have to be a meeting where you say what’s the direction,” Marks said.

Marks claimed that this team looks much different than the one that claimed its latest championship just a couple of seasons ago.

At this point, they’d be lucky to even reach the playoffs, unless something big changes.

The loss of Green hurts the team but it also gives Curry and everyone else a chance to rethink and reshape plans for the months ahead.

Are trades needed or should Steve Kerr commit to long-term changes with the starting lineup?

There are a few options that could end up getting the team pointed in the right direction.

Curry is one of the select few players in the league who could receive any demands he wants.

If he really did request a sit-down meeting with the team and its front office, he’d get one.

He is in the tail-end of his career with retirement starting to loom.

As Marks said, he doesn’t want the conclusion of his time in the league to be clouded by the mess Golden State is in.

From Green to troubled players and a lack of direction, the Warriors have a lot to deal with.
