At this point in his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers, superstar forward Anthony Davis is one of the most criticized players in the league, with many believing that he’s too talented to be as inconsistent as he has been at times during this 2023-24 NBA regular season.

Fortunately for Davis, and the Lakers for that matter, the one-time NBA champion has begun to turn things around, as he’s played exceptionally well as of late and recently had an incredible 41-point, 20-rebound performance in the NBA’s first-ever In-Season Tournament Championship Game.

With Davis elevating his game against the Indiana Pacers when the lights were the brightest in Las Vegas, Nevada, many people have started to look at him differently and have compared him to when he was in top form in the NBA bubble in 2020.

One former player who has been one of Davis’ biggest critics and still had faith he could turn it around is Kevin Garnett, who predicted back in October that the veteran forward would get back on track as one of the league’s best big men.

Garnett knew back in October that Davis needed some time to get back to form, and that’s precisely what he’s done, via Showtime Basketball.

Along with playing some high-level basketball as of late, Davis has been playing through some injuries, which makes his recent run that much more impressive.

It’ll be interesting to see if Davis can continue playing at this level for the Lakers while remaining available in order to give this team a legitimate chance at winning it all this season.
