Former NFL star Richard Sherman hasn’t exactly been kind to the Seattle Seahawks over the past couple of years.
Since he got into NFL media, the former Super Bowl champion has thrown shade at Russell Wilson and the Seahawks organization at times, and the fact that he actually signed with the San Francisco 49ers didn’t sit well with some people.
Notably, that includes former teammate Marshawn Lynch.
In fact, Lynch called him out during the Thursday Night Football broadcast when Sherman chose Brock Purdy for MVP (via NFL on Prime Video).
“Where’d he get his ‘Bowl at?”

Even when they told him that he had also played for the Niners and that the Seahawks cut him, Lynch simply asked where he got his Super Bowl.
Sherman was one of the best defensive players in the league when he played in Seattle, being one of the most crucial figures in that iconic ‘Legion Of Boom.’
He was pretty close to winning a second Super Bowl, but HC Pete Carroll infamously decided to pass at the one-yard line despite having the most physically dominant running back in the game at the time.
A lot may have happened behind closed doors and he has every right to feel a certain way about his former team after that.
Still, it’ll always be kind of odd to see a player dissing the place where he made most of his money and earned most of his accolades.
