The Kansas City Chiefs are losing games and players at the wrong part of the season.
With just a month left before the playoffs, Kansas City has dropped its past two games and three of its past four.
The Chiefs have a tentative hold on the AFC West, but lead the Denver Broncos by just one game ahead of a Week 15 match against the New England Patriots.
And for the second consecutive week, Kansas City will have to do it without their star running back, Isiah Pacheco, after the team officially ruled him out for Week 15 with a shoulder injury, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Pacheco missed Week 14’s loss to the Buffalo Bills with the same injury – one he picked up in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers.
The Chiefs will turn to backups Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon once more after the pair failed to do much this past week.
Edwards-Helaire rushed 11 times for 39 yards and caught two passes for 29 yards, while McKinnon rushed four times for 19 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 18 yards.
Pacheco, meanwhile, averaged 64.9 rushing yards per game and 17.4 receiving yards per game and scored six rushing and one receiving touchdown before his injury.
The Chiefs need this win if they want to maintain their hold on the division and a home playoff game.
While the AFC’s No. 1 seed is technically not out of reach, it would take a lot of losses from contenders and wins by Kansas City to see the playoff seedings change that dramatically.
