The 2023-24 NBA season is slowly but surely taking shape, and favorites are starting to form in each conference.
Fans are also starting to predict which players may appear in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis.
Speaking of the Eastern Conference, players like Tyrese Haliburton, Jayson Tatum, and Giannis Antetokounmpo are some of the favorites to be among the starters for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.
But apart from these three players, Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverley believes his teammates Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey will also be among the starters, via ClutchPoints on Twitter.
“Tyrese Maxey deserves, but I don’t think they gonna put him on there,” Beverley said.

While Beverley mentioned these five players as his picks for the Eastern Conference starters in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, he believes Maxey’s selection could meet an unexpected halt.
Beverley believes that although Maxey deserves a spot among the rest of the NBA All-Star Game starters, he may miss out on it due to politics.
Now, that’s a unique take.
But at the end of the day, if Maxey’s numbers are simply too good to be left out of consideration, he will get in regardless of the politics.
As of now, Maxey is averaging 26.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game for the 76ers.
Maxey’s breakout year is one of the biggest contributors to the 76ers currently holding the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-7 record.
Maxey has improved his numbers across the box score, which has helped the 76ers fill the void left by James Harden.
