The Philadelphia Eagles are currently on a two-game skid after losing to the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys, the other two teams vying for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
The Eagles have dominated the competition for most of the 2023 NFL season, but now must find a way to get back on track.
Losing against San Francisco and Dallas puts a dent in their Super Bowl optimism, but a win against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 would go a long way in helping restore some confidence in the fan base.
Unlike the Eagles who are guaranteed a postseason spot, the Seahawks are fighting for a Wild Card spot and will do everything in their power to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The matchup features a duel between two alpha wide receivers in A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf, physical players who can burn defenses with their speed downfield.
Brown is familiar with Metcalf during their time together at Ole Miss and spoke about their relationship via the Eagles’ official press conference YouTube account.
Brown said it was always fun for him to play against a great friend in Metcalf and is excited to see him again on Monday Night Football.
The star wideout also expressed how proud he is to see Metcalf succeeding and is happy to see him doing so well in the NFL.
Brown added that the two have a special relationship that has remained strong throughout the years.
Although the two respect each other both on and off the field, only one of them can take home a win.
