The Kansas City Chiefs were able to get back on track in Week 15 as they pulled off a 27-17 win over the New England Patriots.

The Patriots were coming off an impressive win against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14 and gave the Chiefs a run for their money before they slowed down in the second half.

Kansas City went into halftime up just 14-10, but scored 13 unanswered points in the third quarter to take a commanding lead that they never relinquished.

However, New England did manage to pick off Patrick Mahomes twice during the afternoon with one of them coming off a dropped pass from Kadarius Toney.

Toney was wide open in the middle of the field and Mahomes hit him right in the hands, but the wideout bobbled it and ended up in the hands of the Patriots.

Shortly after the play, Mahomes was visibly upset on the sidelines via James Palmer of NFL Network.

Mahomes can be seen in the clip shaking his head and cursing out of frustration as the play would’ve resulted in a first down and extended the Chiefs’ drive.

Toney has not been sharp this season and this is the second consecutive week where his mistakes cost Kansas City a chance at points.

In Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills, Toney lined up offsides before he scored a touchdown, wiping the play away and leading to a Chiefs loss.

At this point, it seems like Toney is in serious danger of getting benched down the stretch especially because rookie receiver Rashee Rice has established himself as the clear leader of the wideout room.
