The Milwaukee Bucks have started the 2023-2024 NBA Season on a roll.
They have a 19-7 record, good for second-best in the Eastern Conference after the Boston Celtics.
Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to be a star for this team, a catalyst for their continued success.
Antetokounmpo was recently asked about the Bucks’ upcoming game against the San Antonio Spurs, particularly regarding his thoughts on facing Victor Wembanyama.
In a clip shared by journalist Landon Buford, Antetokounmpo said, “I can feel the hype because I see my teammates talking about Victor did this, Victor did that.”

While Antetokounmpo might know who Wembanyama is, he hasn’t paid much attention to him.
He remains focused on his game and being able to help the Bucks in whatever way possible.
Antetokounmpo said, “I have no idea how he’s doing, where he ranks, or how many points he scores.”
Antetokounmpo will enter this game with a clear head, with fans anxiously waiting to see how these players interact.
Wembanyama and Antetokounmpo play two different styles of basketball, so it will be interesting to see them match up.
The Spurs are on quite a losing streak, only winning two games to this point in the season.
Even though Wembanyama is viewed as a generational talent, the Spurs haven’t quite found the on-court results they have been seeking in his rookie season.
If recent trends persist, the Bucks could jump out to an early lead in this one, leading to a potential for a blowout victory, spoiling this marquee matchup.
