When Damian Lillard was moved to the Milwaukee Bucks, nearly everyone agreed that the combination of him and Giannis Antetokounmpo could be the best in the entire league.

A few months into the new season, Lillard and Antetokounmpo definitely are a tough duo, but are they the best?

Speaking on “Run It Back,” Lou Williams said no.

“If I’m closing my eyes and somebody’s telling me pick two guys that you want to go score the basketball, I’m going to give the ball to Kevin Durant and Devin Booker,” Williams said.

He also added that he’d probably turn to Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic before Lillard and Antetokounmpo.

On paper, Lillard and Antetokounmpo are hard to top and they have played a lot together all season long.

Plus, they haven’t faced the injury problems that have bothered both the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets.

However, there are still some people who doubt the power of Lillard and Antetokounmpo.

The Bucks are currently the second-best team in the East and have a 19-7 record.

But expectations are incredibly high for these two and anything less than a powerful playoff run will be seen as a big disappointment for fans who envisioned big things for the Bucks.

A trade like the one that landed Lillard needs to result in a lot of wins right away, otherwise people will immediately begin questioning things.

The league is filled with multiple impressive duos right now, like Lillard and Antetokounmpo, Booker and Durant, Murray and Jokic, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, and Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

Which one will reign supreme when the season is over?
