It’s been a very big season for Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.
The four-time All-Star has been averaging 32.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 9.1 assists per game and has led his team to the fifth seed in the West.
Beyond that, Doncic also got engaged to his long-term girlfriend and had a baby daughter too.
Speaking with Rachel Nichols, Doncic spoke about how his fiancee, Anamaria, steadies him and provides him comfort.
He said she helps a lot and he loves coming home to her.
Surprisingly, Doncic revealed that there is “no basketball talk” when he’s at home because Anamaria only recently started to like the game.

Doncic and his fiancee met back in 2016 when they were both kids and have been together ever since.
She has been there for him as he entered the league and rose through the rankings of the best young players in the NBA.
Over the summer, Doncic proposed in Slovenia at a beautiful location that was romantic and memorable.
Doncic needs all the support because he is working harder than ever before and is determined to lead his team far into the playoffs this year.
Last season ended in a disastrous fashion, with the Mavericks failing to even make the postseason.
But they have gotten off to a much better start this year and have a 16-10 record.
For the last few years, fans of the team have tried to be patient as they hoped for the Mavericks to reach the Finals.
They came close a couple of seasons ago but Doncic has yet to get a chance to perform on such a big stage.
Will he finally be able to do it in 2023-24?
No matter how far the Mavericks go, there is no doubt he will have his fiancee by his side rooting him on.
