There were a lot of unknowns for the Seattle Seahawks heading into their Monday Night Football matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Geno Smith’s status was up in the air leading up to the game and was eventually ruled out.

This paved a path for Drew Lock to start the game at quarterback.

Despite not having much career experience, Lock found a way to help the Seahawks pull out a much-needed victory.

After seeing this performance, Richard Sherman gave Lock and his coach, Pete Carroll, a lot of credit for beating the Eagles.

Sherman called Lock’s play “legendary,” noting how impressive it was for him to take down the Eagles.

“Pete always finds a way. Especially on primetime”

When talking about Carroll’s efforts as a head coach, Sherman said he “always finds a way, especially on primetime.”

Carroll continues to be regarded as one of the NFL’s best coaches.

The Seahawks continue to succeed as an organization, even after Russell Wilson left the team before the 2022 season.

Smith led the team to the playoffs in his first year as the starter, and with this win, they are on track to make the postseason again.

On paper, the Seahawks seemed to have a lesser roster than the Eagles coming into their matchup.

However, as Sherman pointed out of his old coach and team, the Seahawks somehow found a way.

It didn’t matter that they were counted out in the eyes of the general public.

With a legendary coach, a quarterback that mitigated mistakes, and a defense that locked down one of the NFC’s top offenses, the Seahawks made it happen.
