The NBA has become a global game, meaning people from every single corner of Earth have grown fond of the game, and players from all over the globe continue to make their way to the league.
That became even more evident this year, as San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was the second-most viewed player on the NBA’s social this season with 508 million views, according to NBA PR and NBACentral.
Most viewed players on the NBA’s social this season:

At No. 10, we find Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum with 118 million views.
Then, surprisingly, Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren comes at No. 9 with 122 million.
James Harden continues to stand the test of time, sitting at the eighth spot with 146 million.
Then, at No. 7, Tyrese Haliburton proved to be one of the rising stars of the game, with a little over 146 million as well.
Luka Doncic got the nod at No. 6 with a whopping 199 million, which seems high even for his standards.
Then, at No. 5. future Hall of Famer Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with a staggering 259 million.
The same numbers go for the fourth player on the list, Kevin Durant, whose popularity hasn’t taken any hit despite his “villain” narrative.
Stephen Curry had the third-most views with 419 million, with LeBron James proving that he’s still the face of the league by sitting at No. 1 with almost twice as many views (756 million).
It’s crazy to think that James won’t be around the league for much longer, but at least, it seems like the NBA is in great hands with Wembanyama and company.
