With the NFL fantasy season coming to an end, Zac Taylor has some terrible news for those relying on the Cincinnati Bengals’ passing game.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Bengals have officially ruled out star WR Ja’Marr Chase for Saturday’s divisional clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Needless to say, the fans took to Twitter and had plenty to say about this report.

This is a game-changer for those still alive in the NFL fantasy playoffs, but it’s just the way it is.
The Bengals are thinking of the actual playoffs, which is why they cannot afford for their best offensive weapon to suffer any setback or aggravate his shoulder injury.
This has been a tough season for the Bengals, the fans, the players, and even fantasy football managers, with Joe Burrow dealing with multiple injuries and not even being able to finish the season.
Jake Browning will be in charge of running the show against a Steelers’ stout defense, and with Mike Tomlin’s team dropping three games in a row, you know they’re going to be extremely aggressive against a divisional rival.
The Bengals still have several solid offensive weapons to rely on, such as Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, and Joe Mixon, and their defense should be more than capable of holding the Steelers’ stagnant and ever-struggling defense down.
Then again, it’s always a shame when the best players aren’t on the field, especially when there’s just so much at stake at this point in the season.
