The Chicago Bears have a big decision to make right now.
They could either play it safe with the guy they know and have on their roster and keep Justin Fields for another year or so.
Or they could explore the trade market for their talented youngster and use that potential No. 1 pick to get Caleb Williams instead.
Williams has drawn rave reviews for years now, and he’s considered to be one of the most talented quarterback prospects of all time.
With that in mind, former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky recently stated that it should be a no-brainer decision for the Bears to move on from Fields, as he believes Williams is a combination of Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and Patrick Mahomes (via Get Up).

Needless to say, living up to that kind of hype is almost impossible, and Williams does come with some red flags as well.
Rumors about him wanting to be a minority owner of whichever team took him in the NFL Draft has raised some questions about his character, and USC’s disappointing season didn’t do a lot to help his case.
Even so, the physical traits are remarkable and can’t be ignored.
He can make plays with his feet and has a rocket arm, and he looks like the kind of generational talent that could finally turn an ever-struggling franchise around.
As for Fields, he shouldn’t have much trouble finding a new home.
