Is there anyone who can realistically beat the San Francisco 49ers right now?
The answer, at least for the moment, seems to be a resounding no.
They’re tied for the best record in the NFL at 11-3, and not only is their defense savage, as has been the case for a while, but now their offense also looks unstoppable.
It is their offense that has taken them from a Super Bowl contender to the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season.
Mina Kimes talked about how San Francisco is so difficult to deal with because their offense has so many potent players who can do so many different things in different situations.
“The problem with San Francisco is…no matter what, you’re playing the game on their terms.”
Had a great time previewing SF BAL with @DianteLeeFB, as well as several other week 16 matchups!

In terms of their weapons, one has to start with running back Christian McCaffrey.
He is not only leading the NFL in rushing yards, but he also has a robust 509 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns, both of which lead all running backs.
McCaffrey can not only catch screen passes, but he can run actual wide receiver-type routes either out of the backfield or even when lining up as a wideout.
Wideout Deebo Samuel occasionally lines up as a running back, while fellow wideout Brandon Aiyuk has piled up 1,090 yards and six touchdowns.
In addition, fullback Kyle Juszczyk is adept at a number of offensive roles.
If the Golden State Warriors pioneered position-less basketball in the NBA, the Niners could be pioneering position-less football.
Of course, commanding all this is quarterback Brock Purdy, who is having a remarkable season and is the favorite the win the regular-season MVP award.
The 49ers will face a huge test on Christmas Day against the Baltimore Ravens, who are also 11-3 and are also an outstanding defensive team.
