The San Francisco 49ers were considered to be the biggest powerhouse in the game before last night’s loss.
It’s not that they weren’t allowed to lose a game or two or even that they couldn’t lose to another elite team like the Baltimore Ravens.
But losing 33-19 at home and with Brock Purdy throwing four interceptions against a potential Super Bowl opponent is more than concerning.
However, despite all the valid concerns, star TE George Kittle isn’t ready to hit the panic button just yet.
Following the loss, the talented tight end didn’t want to sound off the alarms and seemed fully confident in his team’s ability to bounce back from this tough setback (via 49ers on NBC Sports).
“It’s not like the building’s on fire or anything like that,” Kittle said.

Truth be told, Purdy did have some tough luck in at least two of those picks.
The passes were tipped, and one of the interceptions even came during a free play for the defense.
Then again, this once again raised doubts regarding the Niners’ ability to go the distance with him at quarterback.
Their defense held on for the most part, but the countless turnovers always left the door open for more points, up to the point where exhaustion made them cave in.
All things considered, it’s hard to envision them losing this badly in a potential rematch.
Then again, they’ll have to take a deep look at the tape and figure out what went wrong if they want to stand a chance against them if they meet again in the biggest game of the season.
