Luka Doncic had a wonderful Monday for several reasons.
Not only did his Dallas Mavericks beat the Phoenix Suns, but Doncic also scored 50 points and 15 assists.
In the process, he earned his 10,000th career point, which puts him on a very special list.
According to Basketball Reference, Doncic is now qualified for the all-time points-per-game leaderboard.
He currently has a career average of 28.04 points per game, which puts him behind only Wilt Chamberlain with 30.07 points and Michael Jordan, who leads the pack with 30.12.
After reaching 10,000 career points, Luka Dončić has qualified for the all-time PPG leaderboard.

Right behind Doncic are Joel Embiid, Elgin Baylor, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James.
This is quite the list to be a part of and Doncic is obviously with very good company.
Since the start of his career, he has been one of the best shot-makers in the league and he is currently producing more points than ever before.
He is posting 33.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 9.4 assists per game during 2023-24.
As great as those numbers are, he is behind Embiid in points-per-game for the season, as the Philadelphia 76ers superstar and reigning MVP is creating 35 per game.
It’s no surprise that these two will be battling it out for this season’s Most Valuable Player trophy.
There are many times when Doncic makes it all look too easy and now he just has to keep performing like this if he wants to stay so high on the list.
He is a young man, just 24 years old, which means he has plenty of years left in his NBA career.
Producing nearly 30 points every single night is a difficult task and it’ll grow harder as the years go on.
But right now, he is consistently putting up amazing numbers and has earned his spot in NBA history.
