The Detroit Pistons have one of the most promising rosters in the NBA and just hired a very good coach.
That’s why it’s hard to fathom the fact that they’ve set a new record for the most consecutive losses in NBA history (27).
As expected, the fans took to Twitter to react to this infamous record, and they were ruthless.
I remember everyone saying how incredible Cade Cunningham was going to be in the NBA and I couldn’t see it maybe this is what they were talking about incredibly bad #BKNvsDET #NBA#OVL

Listen….. Coach Williams is failing this team. His rotation is awful he doesn’t like to play Thompson & Wiseman for some reason. Ausar is the Pistons best on and off the ball defender. Now he’s playing 15-18 mins a game. Earlier he was jerking Ivey around. Can Monty immediately

The Pistons have players at every position, so what would they even draft?
Another rookie is not going to solve their problems.

It’s crazy to think that the Pistons actually looked like a Play-In-caliber team last season before Cade Cunningham fell with a season-ending injury.
Also, it’s not like they’re getting blown out every game; they just can’t seem to keep the same intensity for a full 48-minute period and often lose games they could’ve won.
Cade Cunningham has posted great numbers, Jaden Ivey has a bright future, and Jalen Duren looks like one of the best defensive-minded big men in the league.
Also, Ausar Thompson could be a Defensive Player of the Year candidate in just a couple of years.
So, what’s going on in Detroit? Why can’t they seem to stop the bleeding? What needs to happen for them to finally get things straightened out?
It’s not like they’re tanking or that they need another young player to round up their roster, so it’s really tough to understand what’s the real issue with this team.
Perhaps Monty Williams has already lost the locker room and they’ll need to re-evaluate the coaching staff, or maybe they’ll just have to hit the drawing board and start from scratch again.
