The Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins will square off for what could be one of the most exciting games of the entire season.

The Ravens are sitting atop the AFC, but the Dolphins are only one game behind, so this matchup could have some huge postseason implications.

It could also help the Dolphins prove that they can hold their own vs. winning teams, not to mention a chance to lock up the AFC East once and for all.

With that in mind, Ravens star Lamar Jackson tipped his hat to Tua, recalling a game-winning touchdown he threw against Georgia when he was still playing for Alabama (via Yahoo Sports).

Jackson admitted to being a fan of Tua ever since, to which the Dolphins star recalled that Jackson even reached out to him to praise him when they were in college, so they clearly go a long way back.

Back in 2018, when that happened, Jackson was one of the biggest names in the entire college football landscape, being two years removed from winning the Heisman and being named the ACC Player of the Year.

Tagovailoa had to wait for an extra couple of years before taking his talents to the pros, and just like Jackson, he had to overcome plenty of criticism and mockery early in his career to get to where he is nowadays.
