Just a couple of months ago, some fans wondered whether CeeDee Lamb would force his way out of Dallas, as his frustration about his lack of usage was more than evident.
He posted modest numbers throughout the first month of the season, and it wasn’t until he complained that he actually got more involved in the flow of the offense.
Fast forward to today, and Lamb has secured himself a spot on the All-Pro team, and he should even get some MVP consideration for the season he’s had.
As pointed out by NFL on CBS on Twitter, he currently ranks first in targets (168), receptions (122), and scrimmage yards (1,757), all while ranking second in receiving yards (1,651) and touchdowns (12).

Lamb had already shown glimpses of great play and looked like an elite wide receiver while being misused, but he established himself among the creme of the crop this season.
It’s hard to imagine the kind of numbers he would’ve posted if he had been involved in the offense from the start.
And while some still don’t consider him to be elite or at least won’t put him in the same category as the likes of Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill, there’s simply no way to deny that he’s been the most dominant wide receiver in the game by a significant margin this season.
He’s made Dak Prescott look good, and the Dallas Cowboys’ offense will always have a chance to do something special whenever he’s running routes and drawing defensive attention.
